My Experience with OGX Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture Shampoo:
Packaging: Comes in a sturdy plastic bottle with a flip top cap. The quantity provided is quite generous for the price and a bottle would last me for months.
Texture: This shampoo is not too thick nor too runny. It foams up quite easily, even though it is a sulfate-free shampoo and cleans my hair quite nicely. On days that I have oiled my hair, I do need to rinse and repeat the process twice to get clean, oil-free hair.
Results: I am just as in love with this shampoo as I was with the conditioner. These both paired together are a perfect match. This shampoo leaves my hair clean, but not dry or dehydrated. My hair is usually dry, fine and lacks volume. Due to the presence of sea water/sea salt in this product, which is usually the content in many beach sprays, it gives volume to the hair. This shampoo gives my hair a lightweight bounce. It leaves my hair clean, shiny, and smooth.
Though it is not immensely hydrating just on its own, but paired with the conditioner, it gets the perfect balance. It also does not cause frizz on my hair and leaves it soft and manageable.
I absolutely love the refreshing beach-y scent of this product which lingers on the hair lightly for hours. It is not overpowering. I love the fact that Organix products are free of parabens and sulfates.
Overall, I am very impressed with this particular range – the “Sea Mineral” from OGX. If you have extremely damaged or dehydrated hair, this wouldn’t be the best product for you, but if you are looking for something lightweight which leaves your hair smooth and with volume and bounce, this is the product for you. I absolutely love it and if I wasn’t so much into trying new products every time, I would most probably repurchase it.
